About Kim

Kim Littlefield has extensive experience training and competing with dogs for over 30 years. She has titled many dogs in obedience, agility and retriever hunt tests. Her lifelong interest in dogs began as a child watching her father train his dog - she understood and envied the mutual respect and teamwork they achieved.

Kim got her first dog at the age of 12, and - of course - took her to dog school! She then began her career in Junior Showmanship competitions.

Years later she attended many seminars with nationally recognized trainers and still enjoys being a student herself when she can. She finds now that some of the greatest teachers are the dogs themselves.

Over the years, Kim's interests have evolved from competitive obedience to field training to agility. Throughout each of these runs the firm belief that obedience is the foundation of the relationship between dog and handler.
